Change one thing at a time. If you try to change everything at once you will undoubtedly fail. I'm sure you have done it before yourself. You stop drinking, start running, eat only fruit and vegetables, go for a run, go to the gym and try and be totally perfect! Week two, smoothie for breakfast, half an hour walk and a big salad for lunch. Week three, forty five minute walk, smoothie for breakfast, big salad for lunch and lean meat and vegetables for dinner. Week four, all of the same plus a piece of fruit between each meal and an hour walk.
I had gone from doing nothing to walking for an hour every day, having a smoothie for break fast, a salad for lunch, lean meat and vegetables for dinner, and a piece of fruit between meals.
That's quite a transition. Imagine if you tried to do that all at the same time? It's too much. This is why so many people fail.

I try to tell them time and time again but they never listen. They just keep doing it the hard way and failing every time.
