How to Clean and

1. Turn off the power. Unplug your computer and any peripheral devices.

2. Remove the dust covers. Most desktop computers have removable dust covers on the side of the case. Remove these covers to access the computer's interior.

3. Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to remove dust. Be careful not to vacuum any of the computer's components directly, as this could damage them. Instead, vacuum around the components, paying special attention to the fans, vents, and heatsinks.

4. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe down the computer's components. Be sure to clean all surfaces of the components, including the tops, bottoms, and sides.

5. Clean the keyboard and mouse. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe down the keys on the keyboard and the buttons on the mouse. You can also use a can of compressed air to remove dust from between the keys and buttons.

6. Clean the monitor. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe down the screen of the monitor. You can also use a can of compressed air to remove dust from the vents on the back of the monitor.

7. Put the dust covers back on. Once you have finished cleaning the computer, put the dust covers back on to protect the computer's interior from dust.

8. Plug the computer back in and turn it on. Once you have finished cleaning the computer, plug it back in and turn it on. You should now have a clean and dust-free computer that is running smoothly.
