1. Set up the dip station or bench at a comfortable height.
2. Stand facing the dip bars with your hands shoulder-width apart.
3. Place your hands on the dip bars and jump up until your arms are straight.
4. Slowly lower your body down by bending your elbows until your chest is close to the bars.
5. Push back up to the starting position and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
If you find that you are unable to complete a dip without assistance, you can use a resistance band or a spotter to help you. To use a resistance band, loop it around the dip bars and place it under your feet. The band will provide assistance as you lower and raise your body. To use a spotter, have someone stand behind you and support your body as you lower and raise yourself.
Assisted dips are an effective exercise for building triceps strength, and they can be easily incorporated into any workout program.
