Lose Weight By Slipping Nutrition into a Meal

If you are looking for weight loss tips you might want to try one I recently discovered. Recently I found a process that allows more nutrition into my meals without added caloric intake. What this means for your diet is more lean muscle mass and suppressed appetite. Foods dense in nutrients will stem your hunger and even curb those late night cravings we all get.

My plan is not that overwhelmingly new, you have probably been told about it a million times before. I decided to add some of the most nutrient dense foods available to my daily intake. Try adding things like Bok Choy, Mustard greens, Swiss chard and kale to your daily menu.

Most people, myself included already know how nutritious these vegetables are but simply never thought about adding them to a meal. Now, if you are of the salad eating clan you are getting some green leafy vegetables, however they do not even compare to the nutritional value of Bok Choy, Mustard greens, kale and Swiss chard.

The trick to including these vegetables was figuring out how to slide them into a meal without tasting them on their own.

It is no secret that there are many recipes available but for the person who loves soups or tomato sauces with an Italian flavor this works great.

Let your vegetables simmer until they are all nice and soft. Remove zucchini, onions and the greens, transfer them to a blender. Blend them up smooth then add them back into your soup or tomato sauce.

You may not be a fan of the taste of these types of greens separately (kale, bok choy, mustard greens, etc)... however, pureed and blended into the sauce or soup actually makes a pretty delicious mixture and also adds a tremendous amount of nutrient density to your meals to satisfy your appetite and help you lose weight.

Another thing you want to keep in mind about pureeing the vegetables this way is the fact that vitamin absorption is actually increased. Because your body has an easier time digesting the vegetables in this form, you will actually benefit more from the vitamins and minerals.

This plan is wonderful for the family with children who is struggling to get good nutrition. All you have to do is get your recipe and seasonings right to slide the vegetables in completely unawares. Kids will never know they are eating healthy when you serve up a steaming plate of spaghetti with this type of Italian tomato sauce! If used regularly this is a very good weight loss strategy.
