Plan your meals and portion distribution
Planning the content and timing your meals are good ways to lose weight fast. Your meals must contain all the necessary nutrients for a slimmer healthy body. Always have a serving of bread, rice, pasta or cereals for every meal. You should also have meats that are preferably broiled, grilled or cooked in low-fat oils. Of course, all your meals must have fruits or vegetables.

The best sources of HDL are plant oils. Replace your regular cooking oil and shortenings with olive, flaxseed, safflower, canola and sunflower oils. Besides the different aromas and taste, these oils have low to virtually zero trans fats. They do not add to your fat reserves and they help the intestines reject harmful oils.
Mackerel, salmon and sardines are also rich in omega-3, which is good for the heart. It is also helpful to add onion to your recipes. Onion, pepper and similar spices can boost the levels of HDL in the body.
Drink Green Tea to promote Thermogenesis
The extract from green tea or Camellia sinensis is growing popular because of its weight loss properties. Green tea contains several flavonoids which, as a group, cause thermogenesis. This is a normal body reaction that involves unnoticeable increase in temperature. The heat comes from the slow burning of fat reserves.
Simply add 5 glasses of green tea with or without a fat-free sweetener. Distribute them evenly throughout the day. You can also take lemonade and vegetable smoothies as substitutes for green tea. Taking a lot of fluids is one of the good ways to lose weight fast.
