When you squat, you will feel a stretch throughout your calves, glutes and thighs that will help you tone them. Running up and down the stairs is also a fantastic way to shed those kilos.

You can also put on some peppy music and dance while you do physically taxing tasks like washing dishes and clothes. This activity will not only be fun, but it will also burn the extra calories. The secret is to perform the household chores vigorously, to burn more calories. Practice this for a while to witness a more toned and fitter version of yourself.
