Women find themselves looking at pictures of models in magazines and sighing with envy on an almost daily basis. You wonder how those models manage to be as thin as a rake when you could swear you put on at least one kilo when you just look at food. On the other hand, when you see pictures of videos your favourite actor, you can’t help but admire how svelte and toned her body looks.
For those few minutes when you watch you him or her, you feel inspired and motivated to get into shape. You imagine yourself looking that fit and you start telling yourself to hit the gym more regularly whether you want perfectly toned abs like Katrina Kaif or an hour glass figure like Shilpa Shetty.
However, that sudden rush of inspiration tends to fade away once you stop daydreaming about that superstar and go back to your usual life. After a long day at work, all you can think about is lazing on your bed instead of exercising. One way to guilt yourself into hitting the gym or going for a long run is to dig out your old magazines and newspapers.
Look for pictures of your favourite Bollywood star or even supermodel and cut them out. You can put them up by your study table or even on the mirror in your bedroom. Don’t worry about coming across as a teenaged fan girl and be as creative as you want to while decorating a corner of your room for these cut outs. Choose a part of your room that you use the most often.
By looking at pictures of your fitness role model on a daily basis, you will constantly be reminded about why you need to get out of your comfort zone and push yourself harder. Every time you’re in bed with your favourite junk food snack, you will look up to see Katrina Kaif or John Abraham judging you for your poor eating habits!
