How Much Caffeine Is in White Tea?

The amount of caffeine in white tea varies depending on the type of tea and how it is brewed. Generally, white tea contains less caffeine than other types of tea, such as black tea or green tea. On average, a cup of white tea contains around 15-30 milligrams of caffeine, compared to 40-60 milligrams in a cup of black tea and 25-50 milligrams in a cup of green tea. However, some white teas may contain higher levels of caffeine, such as Silver Needle white tea, which can have up to 50 milligrams of caffeine per cup. Additionally, the brewing time can affect the caffeine content, with longer steeping times resulting in higher caffeine levels.
