Eating a large meal before bed can make it more likely for you to experience acid reflux. Try to eat your last meal at least 3 hours before bedtime.
Certain foods can trigger acid reflux, including fatty foods, spicy foods, caffeinated beverages, and alcohol. Try to avoid these foods in the hours leading up to bedtime.
If you are experiencing acid reflux, taking an antacid can help to neutralize the stomach acid and provide relief.
