- Remove any debris, stems, or insects from the flowers.

- Rinse the flowers briefly with cool water to remove any dirt or dust.

2. Preparing the Pot:

- Use a heat-resistant teapot or infuser suitable for loose-leaf teas.

3. Adding the Flowers:

- Add 1-2 teaspoons of lavender flowers into the teapot or infuser.

4. Heating the Water:

- Bring water to a boil. The amount of water depends on the desired tea concentration and the size of your teapot.

5. Steeping the Tea:

- Once the water boils, let it cool for about a minute to bring the temperature down to around 205°F (95°C). This prevents over-steeping.

- Pour the hot water over the lavender flowers in the teapot.

- Cover the pot and let it steep for 5-10 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

6. Straining:

- After the steeping time, strain the tea into a cup, removing the lavender flowers.

- Compost the used lavender flowers.

7. Sweetening (Optional):

- If desired, add honey or any other natural sweetener to taste.
