2. Turn your head to the side and gently shake it. This can help to drain water out of your ear.
3. Use a cotton swab to gently dry the outside of your ear. Be careful not to insert the cotton swab too far into your ear canal, as this could damage your eardrum.
4. Apply a few drops of over-the-counter ear drops. These can help to dry out your ear and prevent infection.
5. Take an over-the-counter pain reliever. This can help to relieve any pain or discomfort you may be experiencing.
6. If your symptoms do not improve within a few days, see your doctor. They may need to remove the water from your ear using a special tool.
