- Low-risk drinking: Up to 2 drinks per day.
- Moderate-risk drinking: Up to 4 drinks per day.
- High-risk drinking: More than 4 drinks per day.
For Women:
- Low-risk drinking: Up to 1 drink per day.
- Moderate-risk drinking: Up to 3 drinks per day.
- High-risk drinking: More than 3 drinks per day.
Binge drinking: Consuming 4 or more drinks for women or 5 or more drinks for men within a 2-hour period.
Heavy drinking: Consuming more than 15 drinks per week for men or more than 8 drinks per week for women.
