WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons granular Splenda or equivalent liquid Splenda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
The original recipe said to put this mixture in a ziploc bag inside a larger ziploc bag filled with ice, then shake vigorously for 5 minutes. I just poured it into a container and froze it. To eat, I thawed it in the microwave about 30 seconds or so. I would use half the amount of vanilla and Splenda next time. It certainly didn't have the texture of real ice cream, but it satisfied my need for something cold and sweet.
