2 CARB HAMBURGER BUN
2 tablespoons butter
Pinch salt
1/4 cup flax meal
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
In a small microwaveable bowl or Grab-it dish, microwave the butter to melt it. Stir in the salt and flax meal. Beat in the egg with a fork until well-blended. Beat in the baking powder. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula. Microwave on HIGH 1 minute, or until puffed and set in the center. Let stand 1 minute; remove from the bowl and let cool on a rack. I didn't care for these much at all. I don't miss bread and would rather eat my hamburger bunless than with one of these. I suppose if you're desparate for something to hold your hamburger with, these are very easy and quick to make, but the taste is a bit like a bran muffin.
