Hello, I was wondering if fiber stops fat absorbation? I ask because you can get fat binding fiber pills... thou I was wondering about whole grain foods like breads, crackers all bran cerals ect.

The insoluble fibers you are asking about decrease utilization of any nutrient, not only fats, up to 1.8 times -- by mainly creating mechanical coating that prevent the enzymes from contacting foods in the intestinal tract thus the body gets less of the nutrients and calories.
