Answer Putting on weight and adding fat are not the same in my book. Imagine putting on a 100 pound back-pack one day and later when you tire of carrying that load you TRY to take it off. But instead you find that you are stuck with the extra 100 pounds. Furthermore you have come to realize that this extra weight does you very little good. Which is to say is provides you no extra benefit, for the pain it causes you to carry it.
Why not try for extra muscle. Unless you were born with a major deformation in your body, you were born with as much muscle as the next person. It is whether or not you help it develop that will matter to You! Since you mention fruits and vegetable, perhaps avoiding meats, I would suggest you add legumes also known as beans to your diet.
You need to give your body the building blocks, the basic tools, simplest materials with which to add muscle to your frame. You will probably find that this is a more controlled situation, a slower gain and a gain that you can stop and/or reverse quicker than just adding Fat.
If it is fat you wish to add, I understand Avocado is loaded with fats.
One more basic fact to keep in mind when figuring out how much weight you can gain from a certain amount of food - 3500 calories = 1 pound.
I do not know how much exercise you currently do, but if you slowly modify your diet and add proteins in ample quantity, whether they be legumes or meats or dairy products, this will be a safer, smarter way to add bulk - bulk that will benefit you in the future!
