I basically just started to eat just fruits and vegetables and whole wheat bread lately. My goal is to lose 80 lbs. And for my work out I dance all the time to Michael Jackson. I duplicate his dance moves and routines. So that always is a good workout. Sometimes I duplicate full concerts. And I read that he lost like 7 lbs. a night from all the dancing he did. Because he was a strict vegetarian.

Plus I drink Clear American Naturally Flavored Sparkling Water Beverage drink. It is caffeine free, zero calories, and sodium free. It has nothing in it nutrition wise. But the ingredients include: Carbonated water, citric acid, natural flavor, potassium citrate, aspartame, potassium benzoate(a preservative), and acesulfame potassium.

Now would that have a negative affect on my diet by drinking this beverage?

And what do you think about my diet and exercise routine? Will I reach my goal of losing 80 lbs.? And how long will it take for me to lose this weight?

Hello Kurt-
I just recieved your question and I wish I could give you a definitive answer. Your weight loss will have to come from a culmination of many efforts between diet, excesize and peace of mind. after reading through some of your regimines it seems like you have found some excersize that your love so it sounds like you are good there. If you are following a vegetarian diet it will be important to stay away from processed food as often as possible and enjoy preservative free vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, sprouted grains, rice, beans, olives, avocados, and dark leafy greens. These items are full of optimal nutrition and could really help you achieve your goals. As far as bevergages go I really recommend drinking only water and raw fruit and vegetables juices that are freshly prepared. The drink ingredients listed in your quesiton contain aspartame which is very difficult for the body to process and will not aid in your weight loss effort. One fun thing to try if you have a blender that I have seen many people get great results with is a morning smoothie. This would be as follows:

1 Mango or 1 Cup Pinneapple
1 Banana
3 Leaves Kale or 1 Cup Spinach
1 Cup Water or Apple Juice
2 Tbsp Agave Nectar (low glycemic natural sweetener)
2 Tbsp Hemp Seeds or 1/2 Avocado
Blend Well and enjoy as a meal!!

If you are very clean with your diet, meaning natural whole foods, you shouldl get great reults as long as you stay positive and keep excersizing!
