QuestionHello!
I cannot digest vegetables of any kind, instead I get bloated, swollen, stomach ache, craving for sugar and I feel nausea.
I also have the same reaction to cooked or fried vegetables. What shall I do? Exclude vegetables and fruits? Aren磘 they essential?
Best reg,
Madeleine
AnswerDepends. if you don't get the same reaction when eating fruits, it would be best to switch from vegetables to fruits, entirely. On the other hand, if you also have similiar problems with fruit, then it would be best to go zero-carb, along with organ-meats, all meats being grassfed etc.. If you are not already on a raw diet, it would be best to switch away from a cooked diet, as cooked diets usually enhance any food-intolerance symptoms related to a particular food. I would suggest reading the raw, zero-carb forum on rawpaleoforum, and asking any long-term RZCers there as to what to do re your diet.
I would suggest at first trying a raw omnivore diet minus vegetables(ie raw meats/organ-meats and raw fruit) as, while some people do thrive on an all-animal-food diet, there are others who don't do as well on it and end up suffering from it after a few weeks. If the other options don't work for you, try the raw, all-animal food option thereafter.
