name for non-beef eater

I'm not sure if you are the person to ask but I wasn't sure what category this question would be in. I eat all food except for beef, so is there a name for that? Like vegetarians don't eat meat but I just don't eat beef so I was wondering if there was a name for that. Thanks!

As far as I know there is not real name for such a person. It is typical for Hindus to not eat beef, though. Others might call you "paranoid" because of the recent BSE disaster which is supposed to have cleared up and not give you an excuse to eliminate beef from your diet! But I am sure you have perfectly valid reasons for not including beef in your diet, just as you feel you ought to be able to name this diet. You may just have to invent a name for it and set a new trend. I myself have invented a name for my diet: I am a fishytarian (i.e. a vegetarian that eats fish and seafood). Good luck with the creative endeavour.
