QuestionHi I am a college student and only have access to a microwave. I recently was told by my doctor to go on a low-fat, low-sugar diet because I am on the acne medication Accutane and need to get my tricylerides and liver numbers down. I need to find meals that I can make in the microwave. Another obstacle I am facing is that I only have a tiny fridge so I need food that can be kept outside the fridge. I can put some stuff in the fridge just not a whole lot. Any Suggestions? Also do you have any idea why I low fat low sugar diet would affect my liver? Thanks
AnswerHi Wendy,
Hmmm... Would you consider a raw food diet rotating it with protein days when all you eat is meat, fish, or poultry or you even only drink milk or yogurt, but as much as you can take it? It does wonders for the skin!
I do know it's unusual but this diet would be best for you in many respects. I tried it and starting day 2, it's very easy to do. Your taste buds become very sensitive and you enjoy your carrots, apples, oranges, etc. You can keep most fruits and veggies outside the fridge reserving the inside for meats. You can find sterilized milk that doesn't require refrigerator until you open the bottle or can.
Now, there's your microwave question, let me find some recipes for you, they are on my separate hard drive (we've just moved to France and are still partly unpacked)
