QuestionI'm a 39yo male, hitting the gym 3-4 times a week, doing 30 minutes on elipticle and an hour+ weight-lifting. My body is getting toned save for my mid-section. Love-handles, spare tyre, pot-belly, it just won't shift. I've stopped doing sit-ups in order to prevent ab muscles from pushing the residing fat out past my belt any further. I reduced my food intake, changed the types of food, drank more water, tried slim-fast. Any guidance?
AnswerDear Montacruz,
Your problem seems to stem from your insulin sensitivity issue. The mid-section is the place where insulin direct what it considers excess calories, even if in fact there's no excess.
The solution is to go low carb, then on carb rotation.
