QuestionMy BMI is 19, I weigh 131 pounds. I need to get my weight down to 123 pounds for my job as a model. Please understand I'm not anorexic this is purely a professional decision. I know that that is an unhealthy wieght for me but I will only need to maintain that weight for a year or two. I have a reasonably high metabolism and don't get overly hungry. Any suggestions on diets that will help me loose the weight fast, and then an eating plan that will maintain my lower weight, whilst staying as healthy as possible? (i need good skin and hair) Thanks.
AnswerHello Stacey,
First of all, is this your decision to lose weight below your healthy limits or your superviser's? If it's yours, you might want to check out whether or not you really go that far.
Another question is your body fat % -- maybe you can lose some fat and still remain in healthy fat% limits. The matter is, BMI isn't a good parameter to assess ytour body composition.
Finally, I'd advise you against going on a starvation diet because hunger is the greatest weight loss stopper. It's possible to reduce appetite naturally, by choosing right foods. Take a look at http://bantadiet.com it can be right for you and it's f'ree. There, you'll have fat % calculator, by the way.
Don't hesitate asking me any further questions using feedback form at http://dietandbody.com/ask.html
Hope it helps,
