QuestionHello Dr. Z.,
One of the side effects of the medication I'm on (epival) is that it makes me almost constantly hungry. This has resulted in a weight gain over the past couple of years. I'm now at around 215, and really, I want to be at about 175 (I'm male, 5'9" tall)
What is the best kind of diet for me to be on, since I'm always hungry like the wolf? I find it very hard to bypass delicious sugary and fat-filled treats. I love pastries, chips, things that are deep fried. I find them irresistable.
My doctor has advised me to just eat vegetables. Easy for him to say.
What's your advice?
Thanks.
