AnswerIt doesn't sound as though you're ready for a raw, palaeolithic diet, as yet. I'd suggest trying out a (lightly-cooked) Palaeolithic diet for now, instead. That means cutting out all grain and dairy products, as well as all preprocessed foods(so microwave-ready meals or any other (usually supermarket-type) foods, such as sweets/chocolate/crisps etc., are out of the question). And drink only (non-fizzy) mineral water from natural springs. The high-alkaline(PH 7.0+) mineral waters are the best. Fizzy drinks like Pepsi and processed fruit-juices are far too high in sugar, and should be avoided at all costs. Beans are also a definite no-no healthwise.
Next go in for a wide variety of organic, grass-fed meats and organ-meats. Organ-meats includes heart, liver, tongue, kidney etc. If you can't get hold of organic, grass-fed meat, try to by naturally-reared meats/organ-meats instead - if you can get hold of meats from wild animals, such as wild venison, wild-caught fish/shellfish etc., then that would be perfect. Most meat is factory-farmed and very unhealthy for us, so it's important to go for the highest quality you can find.
Here's a comprehensive archive website covering the Paleolithic Diet, for you to look through(it mentions a few books by Cordain and others which might be of use):-
