QuestionHi Evelyn, I am in a very intense relationship with an amazing partner and have been for a number of months now, and I would like more energy and vitality in myself. We spend a lot of time together and I would like us to remain healthy and strong. We have a lot of late nights and early mornings and though I try to eat well, I often lapse into the odd indulgence or two (!!). Do you have any tips that you can suggest on the types of food or diet I should maintain to remain vital and energetic? I do not like to eat seafood, so that is off the menu and I must admit to having a sweet tooth.
Any suggestions or advice you can provide would be much appreciated. I am sure that my partner will thank you also.
Many warm regards,
Kika (Australia)
AnswerDear Kika,
Let me first note you sound very healthy! You are in love and care about your nutritional needs. What more could a woman need to know about the meaning of life! Your partner should think themselves very lucky.
Of course, late nights can be very taxing on the system, but early mornings are good boosts to it: trying to get started ahead of the masses is very good for maintaining high energy levels and tapping into your own potential. Perhaps, you have stumbled onto a real winning format here, unawares.
All I can really suggest is that you enjoy your food, and with good company that is half the work already done. An occasional indulgence is also healthy, it shares the Earth's prediliction for the luxury of having Life Force at her disposal. No such joy on the moon, remind yourself!
Perhaps, I could recommend a picnic from time to time, the fresh air, especially the summery one at present, will surely help regulate your appetite and subdue your hankering for sweetness. Unfortunately for you, my second best tip to eat plenty of sea food is not going to be of any use. It is not for no good reason that oysters have a reputation of their very own.... But there are other creative options.
Some vitalising suggestions you and your partner may enjoy:
Think about cracking a lot of nuts.
Eat seeds that have been roasted.
Avoid deforrestating foodstuffs.
Whole grains are better than petitgrain (can give allergic reaction when applied to skin in massage oil).
And buy your lover lots of 85% dark chocolate.
Give my best to your lucky partner, I think their health is pretty much ensured by your profound concern about matters of vitality. The best power source, of course, coming in even before food, is love.
So stay loving,
Love
Evelyn
