QuestionHello,
I have found that eating raw fatty meat (and fat in general) increases my heart rhythm. I have been low carbing with paleo raw food for several months and I started an all-raw-meat diet for 10 days. But the more I eat fat, the more my pulse increases. I can even sometimes have arrhythmia. My heart is OK according to the doctor.
I am 39 years old, 1m82 for 66 Kg.
So what can be the possible reasons of this trouble, and how can I fix it?
Thank's for your help!
AnswerWell, I don't really know why this might be. Magnesium is cited as being needed for getting rid of heart-arrhythmia so if you happen to be eating lots of raw dairy along with the raw meats/organ-meats, then the excess calcium consumed from the dairy would block the uptake of magnesium, thus leading to magnesium-deficiency. So, cutting out any raw dairy would do the trick.
Other than that, I can't be sure what might trigger an increased heart-rhythm. Usually,my view is that one should just listen to a body's instincts and act accordingly, so you might want to alter your diet until these symptoms disappear. At any rate, when I used to have a speeded-up heartbeat pre-raw diet, I took that to be a bad sign.
