QuestionI am a 53 years old male who has recently be diagnosed with both hypercholesterolemia and diabetes. My weight is 105kg and height 1.90meters. Please what diet would you advise. Cow liver and kidneys are my favorite. Can I eat this once a while. Many thanks in advance.
AnswerDear Nick,
One good thing about diabetes/cholesterol diets is, you cab eat liver and kidneys BUT you have to learn what foods you should eat along with them. The matter is, current view of the diabetes/cholesterol combination called metabolic syndrome (or metabolic resistance, or insulin resistance) is that there have to be a proper combination of carbohydrates with protein and fats. It looks rather complicated but in fact it is not, after the computations are made and available.
