QuestionCan u make high meat with pasture fed chickens, and wild fish? do you have any experience with these?
thanks
AnswerYes one can. The Eskimos would eat lots of high-meat in the form of raw, aged fish, for example - and there are a number of aged, raw fish dishes such as Surstromming eaten by Scandinavians etc.
I've tried eating fish high-meat, on one occasion, and didn't like the taste at all.I've never liked the taste of raw chicken, no doubt because I'm unable to find a genuine source of pastured chicken, so I've never tried eating aged, raw chicken, either. Mind you, I'm very picky as regards high-meat and only go in personally for beef-heart or beef-tongue high-meat. Many RAFers are, however, happy to eat aged, raw eggs(eg:- century eggs), or other kinds of high-meat such as liver high-meat, which I wouldn't touch(though I'd eat liver if it was only slightly aged).
