I am 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weigh 190 pounds.  If I were to consume 1500 calories and 30 grams of fat per day, how long will it take for me to lose 55 pounds?

Hi Nicole,
1500 calories a day is perfect for you to lose weight.  You should lose 1.5 to 2 pounds a week (when the monthly weight loss is averaged).  I would also recommend to switch to 1200 calories once you have only 20-25 pounds left.  It should take 8 months to 1 year to reach your goal of 135.  Please know that slow and steady is the best way to lose and you'll have a way better chance to keep the weight off.  Good Luck!!!
