QUESTION: l am a lady aged 22 ,l wish to lose weight especially around the waist l weigh 66kg l wish to achieve 58kg weight how do l do it.

l work in an office most of the time on the computer monday to Friday , Saturday l do laundry ,house chores, reading, watch TV,sleep,Sunday l go to church and play basketball after that
on an average day l have 3 meals breakfast ,lunch,dinner
breakfast
cereal usually cornflakes and a glass of fruit juice
lunch
rice,chicken,and a salad, on a terribly busy day which is normal l usually have a pie and a soft drink
dinner
depends on what l had for lunch
pasta ,beef and no salad

Answer
Eating 6 times a day in small meals can help to speed up your metabloism.

Typical weight loss day example:  
B:1 cup cereal, 3/4 cup milk, 1 fruit - Please MEASURE your cereal out.  Please have a fruit instead of fruit juice.  If you must have fruit juice 1/2 a cup.
S. 1 more fruit
L: 1/2 cup rice, 2 oz chicken (2 fingers size)
S: carrot sticks, 10 almonds  
D: smaller than baseball (3/4 cup) potato, rice or pasta. palm size meat. as many veggies as you want.  Please cut out soft drinks as they hinder weight loss.
S: 2 cups popcorn OR a fruit  
Remember you can eat unlimited vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cucumber etc).   

Weight loss takes time, it may take months to lose 18 kg.  Remember you didn't put it on overnight so it will not come off overnight, it will take 4-8 months to lose, patience is key.  Also adding more activity will speed up weight loss.
