Questioncan u plz tell me a simple and easy weekly balanced food plan to make me strong and a bit less in weight.
poeple try to avoid fat while losing weight but its said that balanced diet is necessary , what do u say about it.
and what is a fibre diet.
AnswerI agree a balanced diet is more important than a low-fat diet. Some studies have even shown a diet of 30% fat may contribute to a lower body weight. A low-fat diet is also usually high in carbhohydrates which can cause insulin to spike (increase quickly) and make fat storage easier for your body. A good balance is 10-15% protein, 20-30% fat, and 45-65% carbohydrates.
By a fiber diet, you probably mean a high fiber diet. A high fiber diet can help you lose weight because the fiber is not absorbed, meaning you absorb less calories from a meal; less calories are also absorbed because fiber pushes food through your system so other calories are pushed out before they are absorbed, also. Cholesterol also binds to some fiber, which can lower your risk of heart disease and help control weight. Fiber helps you feel fuller longer because it absorbs water and expands. Finally, fiber helps prevent insulin from spiking when you eat.
It is hard to give you a food plan because I do not know your height, weight, or what foods you like. Good tips for weight loss include: drink a lot of water, eat more fruits and vegetables, eat more fiber (whole grains, beans, fresh fruits and vegetables), reduce calorie intake by 250-500 (you can write down everything you eat for a few days and add the calories online, get an average, then subract the 250-500 calories), and get more exercise.
