QuestionI am diabetic, insulin dependent, renal failure (potassium restricted)congestive heart failure. I am on Warfarin plus other medications.
I find it extremely diffifult to find food I can eat. Can you offer me some food options? Thank you, Charles

The recommended allowance in a low potassium diet is 2,000 to 3,000 milligrams of potassium per day (2-3 grams). Fruits, vegetables, and diary should be limited to four half-cup servings per day.
Use frozen fruits and vegetables cooked in water and rinsed and drained well before eating.
