AnswerI'm afraid that's an urban myth.
Basically, the key thing to remember is that bacteria plus a bad environment equals bad, and bacteria plus a good environment equals good. So, bacteria in healthy raw grassfed meats are fine while bacteria in unhealthy, intensively-farmed grainfed meats bought from supermarkets are bad. Similiarly, eating raw wildcaught fish is fine and healthy as regards bacteria, but eating raw, intensively-farmed fish is not.
There is no need to be concerned re raw meats as countless thousands of rawists have been eating raw meats for years without issues. Since they focus on raw grassfed meats, they are fine.
if you are still worried, by all means freeze the meats for 2 weeks. It's a waste of time, and means buying 2 extra weeks of meat that you can't eat immediately, requiring extra storage space etc. Plus, freezing damages the cell-membranes leading to rapid loss of nutrients, so once you thaw each piece of meat, you should eat it all immediately, and not just stuff part of it back in the fridge.
