Question
Is skipping breakfast bad for health? Is dandruff caused by malnutrition?

Answer
Dear Ravi,

Your question does not proffer me sufficient information for me to help you to the best of my abilities.
I do not answer general questions. From a nutritional point of view that would be impossible. So I must try to personalise your Question as follows.

Why would you WANT to skip breakfast? (weight loss? efficiency? Don't know how to prepare?)
Or: Why do you actually skip breakfast? (time/effort? Lack of appetite? No facilities/finances?)

These examples give two entirely different situations for which there would be two entirely different answers. Including other situations there could be fifty other answers or more!

Next. What do you understand under "breakfast"?
Some just take coffee and a Danish pastry or a pancake.
Others eat a bowl of muesli and yoghurt (which works in healthy people in the North Western hemisphere for a specific reason). Some eat a full English (proven unhealthy, and only traditional) or a bowl of rice (often a happy necessity).

Would a glass of lemon juice and clay, followed by a herbal tea and a shot of artichoke elixer not constitute as breakfast? (Currently my own.)

You need to think very deeply on the subject of breaking a fast.
Each night you fast.
Each morning you break it.
This ritual deserves immense respect and you need to take a highly individual approach.

The topic of dandruff is different.
No less complex.
Malnutrition is not the right word. What is "mal"/ bad? Again, it depends on your own situation.
Indeed, sometimes, if you "abuse" your body and stop listening to your inner voice and lose contact with your true purpose for life on earth, you will get physical signs to jog you. So partying, lack of wholesome meals, late nights, drugs and whatnot, may cause deterioration, and if you are LUCKY it will first manifest itself in your outermost organ (most visible and treatable therefore): the skin. (There are exceptions with serious skin disorders.)

Your scalp is covered in  skin (dandruf is skin flakes). And it is dry if it flakes. Many external factors can attack the skin (dry air, pollutants etc). Some genetic factors dispose you to the condition. Some skin conditions are VERY difficult to treat with nutrition. Think of acne, for which scientifically the conclusions are, by now, that there is no one food that CAUSES it. Or worsens it. But food can mirror underlying conditions that trigger symptoms.  That is a different and alternative way of looking at food, your organism, but also your Self.

What I can give you, to tie up both questions in one go is the following.
Generally people who are very cerebreal (dry brains!) suffer from dandruff (or dry skin basically) or acne - almost same thing. Or rather, a weak skin organ with an oil/dry imbalance. (Often dry scalp gives greasy hair.) This brings us to the basic dynamic of silica which builds up our skin and relates to our body in an intricate way. It links to our highest inner self. Complicated literature explains how - there is a science to it, but one that incorporates body and mind with what really matters: spirit.

Sometimes we try to fly too high too soon. This is not meant to be. Then our  spirit tells our soul to tell the body to pull out. "We're not in it for this game." Then parts of your body start to suffer. If you are lucky, only mildly and in the most common manner (dandruff).

By thinking about your nutrition you are made aware of the miraculous processes and dynamics underlying your health. By taking breakfast (in some form) you show yourself respect. Dandruff is part of a quick turn-over process (skin rejuvenates fast compared to other organs). At the same time it is quite constitutional and persistent throughout one phase of your life at least. It is kind of meant to be...

You will not likely find results through nutrition in any direct results regarding dandruff. Diet is all about investing LONG TERM.

Please specify more details if you want more detailed information.
With warmest regards for now,
Evelyn.
