Question
hi, im trying to get more confident with eating raw animal materials, at the moment i drink raw milk, but i would like to ove on to other interesting things, like bone marrow, or cartilage. I would guess they have other properties than just milk, i'm looking to get stronger, ive been in a car accident and i'm not feeling the same since then, my muscles/ligaments and joints have some issues. I have problems not having any support, i get scarred of raw meat whenever i look at it becouse i'm aware most people dont eat that, and i dont want to poison myself. I just dont know how to get about getting raw marrow, how safe or not this is ect. If you could give me any advice in how to get to trusting raw animal parts or how to minimize the risk of it not being fresh ect i would really appreciate it. I just dont want to feel like i'm taking risk every time i eat something like bone marrow, especially that this is not easy to get i would think, it takes some effort to get into that diet. thank you

Here are a few links which should address most of your needs, re easing into raw meat diets, where to buy from etc.:-

Basically, most people come to raw-meat diets, irrartionally terrified of food-poisoning issues. The only way they can cure themselves of such an absurd phobia is to eat raw meats regularly. After many months, they find to their great surprise that they're not dead yet, and haven't had any issues with the food. That said, there are obvious caveats:- don't eat grainfed meat, whether raw or cooked, go for high-quality grassfed meats instead(raw wild game is even better if you can get hold of it). If eating aged, raw meat, make sure to keep it relatively exposed to air/oxygen(but it, anyway, takes a lot more time for newbies to get used to aged, raw meats than fresh, raw meats). Also, it's best to minimise consumption of cooked foods as much as feasible when on a  raw food diet. The reason is simple, the body requires slightly different processes when digesting raw or cooked foods(such as need for producing increased stomach acid when eating cooked foods etc.).
