QuestionHello,
My name is Lea. I was dxed in 2008 with Relapsing Remitting MS. I have been GFCF since July last year and now off all treatments and medications since March of this year. I still eat the majority of cooked food but barely any additives salt, pepper or otherwise. Please can you give me some information or point in the direction I can get some relief from this nagging condition. My body seems to be holding up well..I exercise regularly but the brain and brainfog is still a bit concerning for me. Any information you could provide would be much appreciated! Thank you!
AnswerBasically, a cooked-palaeodiet is the "least worst" of all the cooked diets for auto-immune diseases like Multiple Sclerosis. A raw, palaeolithic diet is the best possible type of diet as it avoids heat-created toxins, such as advanced glycation end products etc. which make MS and many other illnesses much worse via increased inflammation(and I suspect, ultimately are the cause of such conditions in the first place:-

If you want to do this diet I suggest you read the 1st post in this thread and read the 1st posts of the other threads in that second link:-

The brain-fog can be gotten rid of by eating "high-meat":-

However, you should only try "high-meat" once you've gotten used to and enjoyed the taste of fresh, raw meats first.
