Hi, what are the effects of skipping meals (like breakfast and lunch)on the body?

Hey Lyn

Skipping meals especially at breakfast is a bad idea. Your body needs nutrients and needs to be nourished from an extended fast from sleeping. Also, your brain uses up energy in the form of glucose and needs that in the form of carbs to properly function, so it can be a detriment to your day to day life. A good mixed meal of proteins,carbs and fats are needed during each meal.
