QuestionHi there,
I was just wondering because i Have read earlier in an article that eating before a Workout and after a workout is the best time to actually eat well? And that eating little at night is also preferable to lose weight? Is this info. correct? thanks
AnswerIt really depends on what type of exercise you are doing. For some they need to eat before or after because they are participating in endurance activities. Eating right before and right after though, is not going to burn more calories. Your best bet is to eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day (spaced equally apart)and to make sure you don't exercise on an empty stomach or a very full stomach.
There is no concrete evidence that says eating very little at night is more effective when it comes to weight loss. What really matters is what you are eating throughout the day and what your calorie intake for the whole day is. If you are someone who tends to snack at night than it may be beneficial to make a rule for yourself not to eat after dinner. That way you don't snack and take in too many extra calories.
