Question Hello. I am sooo confused on weight management. This has never been my stong point anyway and now with all the talk of obesity I am even more confused than ever.
My question is this. I weigh between 145-150. It varies sometimes on when I weigh my self and if I am having PMS. I am about 5.5 inches tall.
I have been this size for about 5 years. Before that I was a bit smaller. This is before having my son.
I sometimes will go on an eating "binge" eating donuts and things. I feel REALLY guilty about this.
Does a few "naughty" splurges every so often make you gain weight?
If I eat a few extra things when and how much weight will I gain?
This is all confusing to me. Thanks.
AnswerHello R,
First thing you need to do is realize that you shouldn't feel guilty about enjoying some not so healthy food from time to time. Usually when people binge, it's from a few reasons one could be you try to totally avoid "bad" foods and then just splurge when you do eat it. Or if you're depriving your body of food that it needs, your brain will send signals for you to opt for fatty and sugary foods.

And don't beat yourself up over food.
