QuestionHi Terry--
I,m 27 yrs old, 290 lbs (male)...i've been going to the gym for about 2 yrs now (more on than off, but not as regularly as i should)...i've cut out a ton of bad foods ( i used to be a bag of doritos & bottle of coke kinda guy) but i'm not seeing the results i want...now, this is probably because i'm trying to build muscle and i'm ignoring the cardio/ weight loss aspect of my routine....do you know of any good protein supplements to increase muscle mass and what should i be doing to lose the weight (spare tire!)
thanks for any insight
andrew
AnswerHi Andrew,
The best protein will be a 100% Whey powder. You still need to be at a caloric deficit to lose weight. Visit www.toolsforlife.cc to determine your requirements and subtract 500 calories per day from the number you get to lose one pound of fat per week. Let me know any other questions.
