flintstones vitamins

My question is regarding vitamins.  I was told that Flintstones vitamins provide the same content as any other vitamin, like Centrum.  However, on the package of Flintstones, it mentioned that it was the daily value for children 4-8.  Are Flintstone vitamins just as good as Centrum or other daily vitamins for adults?
