QuestionI have a general question about daily water intake. I know that we are supposed to drink 8-10 8oz glasses of water a day, which I have trouble doing. To aid myself in my daily water intake, I have been putting about 2-3 teaspoons of concentrated lemon juice in each glass of water I drink (glass is about 22 oz). Since doing that I have increased the number of glasses I drink a day. My question is, even though lemons are supposed to be extremely beneficial to your health, is there a limit to how much lemon juice someone is supposed to take in on a daily basis?
AnswerErica,
There is no "limit" to lemon juice but basically you just want to add enough to get the taste. Add as little as you can for it to still taste good to you. The only risk there is, is the acid that the lemon juice carries and the possible risk to the breakdown of tooth enamel. Like I said, it is fine, just use as little as will do the job.
