Questioni have checked out countless numbers of height/weight tables and bmi formulas and they all come up with different answers. how can i tell if i am still too fat? is there a way to really find out how much fat i have, and what i should really weigh?
AnswerJen,
My suggestion is to stick to the BMI tables. They give you a range of weights for your height. They give you a "healthy" weight as opposed to an "ideal weight", which is more realistic. These charts however DO NOT give you body fat! You need to be measured by a specific measuring device that measures body composition to know your actual body fat and lean tissue/muscle.
These web pages may help you out:

Keep in mind that any formula or table you use is ONLY an estimate!! The most important thing is that you are at a healthy weight and at a weight you can realistically stick with and feel good at!
