QuestionHI, i Just started taking creatine just to try it and i am gonig to stop after the 24 pack is done. I run every day and i try and keep my bodyfat % to a minimum. I would like to know if creatine will harm me by adding weight, help me, or do nothing but help my workouts. Thanks!

AnswerHello George!
Thank you for your nutrition question. There have been no known reports of harmful, long lasting negative side effects for creatine. You will experience weight gain due to the muscle saturation. You more than likely will achieve additional lean muscle mass due to a higher exercise output. However, I don't recommend using it for a prolonged period of time since there are not enough long term studies out there.
You can build muscles in other ways such as eating a diet rich in complex carbohydrates(ie. oatmeal, brown rice, whole wheat bread, and bran cereals) and continuing to work your muscles by bikeriding, jogging, swimming, and weightlifting at least 3 times a week for half hour.
These are actually the 2 safest and best ways to build muscle. Hope this helps.
