QuestionHello! I've had incredible success dieting in the past while. I started out just under 270lbs about two years ago after a jump from a long maintained weight of 215-220. Currently I'm at an all time low of just under 180, and am nearing my goal of 10% body fat. My problem is this though: I'm eating healthily and am steadily losing weight, but I'm having to force myself to eat just to stay at the 2000 calories that I'm eating. As a fairly active, muscular male, all the "calculators" say I should be eating 2500-3000 to maintain. But once I reach my goals, I don't see how I could eat that much as eating 2000 leaves me feeling near sick with overeating, even though I still lose weight! What do you suggest I do when I reach my desired weight? Should I begin stuffing my face just to maintain? Will I lose and lose until I'm unhealthily skinny if I continue eating how I am? Any help's appreciated! ./[tyler]

Congrats on a wonderful job of losing weight. The best way to maintain the exact weight you desire is just to simply add a few higher calorie foods to your menu daily. If this is still too much then try one of the great weight gainer shakes but just use the shakes to maintain and not to gain weight. Most of the shakes are about 400 to 500 calories and this is just a very simple way to keep your weight at the correct level.
