Questionhi,
i heard that there are some types of food (e.g carrot) its calories are very low and the body spend calories in eatting and digisting it which is more that the calories gained from it
so its give use -ve calories
1- is that right?
2- what other types of food that related to this category?
thx
AnswerWhat you are talking about is the theory of "negative calories". The truth about any food or diet is that they DO contain calories and the way they are metabolized in the body they WILL provide calories.
A calorie is simply a measure of energy. The purpose of food is to provide energy to the body. There is no such thing as foods with negative calories. It is your overall calorie consumption that matters, not each individual food that you consume. Instead of focusing on foods with negative calories, which don't exist, strive to stay within a healthy calorie limit to lose weight.
