QuestionI want to increse my weight. All my life I have been thin, and now I'm 38 and still very thin, otherwise healthy. 3 years ago I lifted weights, ate weightlifting powders, and a tablespoon of sugar morning and night and gained 30 pounds. Now that I have stopped doing all that I have dropped back to my skinny self. Can you recommend a healthy powder (w/out sugar) or supplement or some way to increse my weight without having to do what I did before. By the way, the sugar really helped me but I want to avoid that. Thanks.
AnswerCheck out your local GNC store. They have a ton of protein powders that are good. Any kind will do since all you are doing is basically adding calories to your diet. I favor the Genisoy brand shakes. Also, you could just try increasing your food intake by eating more servings of fruits and veggies as well as an extra serving of meat here and there.
