QuestionI recently joined Weight Watchers and have lost about 10 pounds - however the last few days I have been feeling light headed. Is it possible that I may not be eating enough although I stay in the point range according to WW? Or, can a person drink alot of water I(lately I have been) that it washes out the salt the body needs? I felt light headed thinking I needed sugar so I ate M&M's but when that didn't work, I tried a pork rind (salt) and I felt a little better. I'm just wondering if there is any tie there or if I'm light headed for other reasons that I can't seem to think about other than the weight loss and not getting enough or the lack of salt. I use to intake alot of salt but cut down drastically due to WW. Serina
AnswerSerina,
I cannot say whether you are eating enough or not without knowing exactly WHAT and HOW MUCH you are actually eating!! Not sure what you consider a lot of water also. Just because you get all your points daily does not mean you ARE getting the right types of foods and balancing your diet from ALL of the food groups! I cannot make any assumptions about your problems without working with you one-on-one and knowing exactly what you are doing. If this problem persists I would see your doctor. In the mean time you may want to talk to your WW counselor and explain your symptoms.
