QuestionI recently started taking honey for my allergies. (Seems to really be working by the way)
Anyway, I can not stand to eat it alone so I have been putting a little bi of reduced fat margarine (maybe half a teaspoon) with it on wheat bread to get it down. I use aprx 1 teaspoon honey.
I am also trying to lose a couple pounds or at the very least maintain my weight. I am female, 5'5 145 pounds, active, do exercise so have some muscle mass to account for a few of those pounds, lol. I am wondering what my new allergy remedy is doing to my diet?
Thanks for your time.
AnswerIf you are having just that one teaspoon of honey per day that is not a whole lot. You have to look at what you eat on a whole in a day. One food is not going to make or break your diet! Again, what counts is what you eat throughout the entire day. If you are eating the honey and also eating a lot of other high sugary foods during the day that could be a problem. BUT if you are doing the honey and watching your sugar content the rest of the day it is probably not a problem. Make sure you are including ALL of the food groups each day!
