1200 Calories???HELP.

Mark,
I figured you may know the answer to this. I am male, 6ft. 210 pounds. Ill be 30 in november. I want to lose 21 pounds (10%) in 90 days. I dont exercise, I drink like 5 cokes a day, i dont eat breakfast or lunch, and I usually eat a big pasta involved dinner, some junk food and then if im hungry right before i go to bed ill fill up and then go to sleep. I know this is not good. One week ago today I went on a 1200 calorie a day diet getting rid of the soda and eating a lot of fruits and veggies over 3 meals a day. Much better wouldnt you say? The problem is I weighed in and I weigh exactly the same one week later. Is my body storing the fat due to thinking it is in starvation mode cause of the calorie drop? Am I plateauing and it will come off? Am I doing it all wrong? What should I do (i am exercising as well - running a mile a day. I was a track star in H.S. and college but you couldnt tell anymore by looking at me) Please help. I am not asking for all the answers, just something specific enough that I can figure it out on my own and lose the 21 pounds by July 11th. Thank You for your time, Mark, I appreciate it.
